About Me

Turning Complex Into Simple.

I’ve been designing user experiences for over 10 years. Turning complex systems into simple, effective, and enjoyable products. I focus on clarity, usability, and the small details that make a big difference.

My design journey started in Print, then expanded into Web and Branding before deepening into UI and UX - finally leading me to Product Design. That experience taught me structure, rhythm, and visual storytelling, skills I still use every day to shape thoughtful, balanced digital experiences.

Working across different fields of design, and with a solid understanding of development processes, gives me a unique perspective on how to bridge ideas and execution.

Sentiment.io

UX Lead

At Sentiment.io, I led UX initiatives to modernize our social customer support platform Engage, guiding the team through a transition to a more flexible web-based experience. Sentiment.io provides SaaS solutions for customer support, unifying conversations from social media and digital channels into a single inbox, with AI integration to assist client agents.

I created and implemented a comprehensive design system from the ground up, supporting Sentiment.io’s collaborations with clients such as eBay, Boohoo, and Talkdesk.

Building on that foundation, I designed Flow, a powerful tool for creating custom customer support workflows that guide client agents through complex processes. The product integrates AI and allows teams to plug in custom knowledge bases, helping streamline and personalize support at scale.

I supported marketing with product-focused visuals, helping communicate complex features clearly and effectively—skills I improved in my previous role...

Trinity Mirror Digital

UI/UX Designer

At UK-based Trinity Mirror Digital, I worked as a UI/UX designer focused on improving the quality of the company’s recruitment services and developing new property-related products. The company owned and operated multiple online recruitment sites and various other digital platforms across the UK, serving millions of users in the employment and digital news industries.

I collaborated closely with talented designers and a diverse development team based in the heart of Canary Wharf, London’s dynamic business district.

The Mags

Digital and Print Designer

Early in my career, I joined The Mags—one of Bulgaria’s top web agencies at the time—as a web and print designer. I worked closely with a talented team of designers and marketers to create websites, digital and print materials, and outdoor campaigns for major brands like Vivacom, United Bulgarian Bank (UBB), and Kamenitza.

Despite my design degree and freelance work, the fast-paced agency was a wake-up call. The gap between school and top clients pushed me to grow fast—sharpening my eye, working under pressure, and learning what true professional design means...

Early years

Dipping my toes in design.

2005 - 2011

Freelance

Digital and Print Designer

While studying at New Bulgarian University, I started taking on a few commercial design projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience alongside my academic studies.

During this time, I also learned HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL, which enabled me to build my own web projects from the ground up. This technical foundation proved invaluable later when collaborating closely with development teams.

This blend of design and technical skills was only the beginning of my journey, taking me back to where I first got hands-on with print production and managing visuals...

2004 - 2005

Reflex Bulgaria

Print Designer

My curiosity about design led me to work with a workwear company that supplied clothing for various businesses and emergency services.

There, I honed my proficiency in vector graphics while gaining hands-on experience producing large print runs and managing the entire production process of the visuals.

Education

From early passion to focused design.

2010

Bachelor of Visual Arts & Communication

New Bulgarian University

Studied Arts and Design, guided by inspiring teachers who helped me build a strong creative foundation and develop my skills while enjoying the learning journey.

During this time, I also tried starting a business with a friend—an experience that didn’t work out but pushed me to reflect deeply and grow both personally and professionally.

2002

High School

English Proficiency Class

During my studies, I was required to spend over 40 hours a week on intensive English classes—an intense but valuable experience. It was also when I got my first personal PC, after my father grew tired of me tinkering on his work Macintosh.

Discovering Photoshop on that machine was a turning point, helping me realize that graphic design was the path I truly wanted to pursue.

1980s

LVL. 1

I’m a kid of the ’80s and ’90s, shaped by all the quirks that era brought. Growing up, arcades, Segas, Nintendos were my first real connection to screens—and that early fascination laid the foundation for my lifelong passion for design and technology.
